REV. KETEMA S. MASON (President) is a native of Brooklyn, born and raised by Jamaican parents in the Rastafarian tradition. He is an interfaith minister, spiritual coach, writer, public speaker, wedding officiant, and the co-facilitator of the CSL Man Up Empowerment Group.
Rev. Ketema has worked in health care administration for over 15 years. In his current position at a Brooklyn hospital, he works on health metrics and clinic analytics which are used to make decisions regarding staffing, compliance, and patient care. Ketema received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Johnson & Wales University and his Master's degree in Health Care Management from St. Joseph's College.
His great passion is integrating health care and spiritual wellness. In his own life, he works to bridge the two in dynamic expression. To help bridge his two passions, in 2013, Rev. Ketema completed training in interfaith ministry and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary. In 2014, he was certified as a Spiritual Coach from the Coaches Excel Institute. These educational achievements allow him to skillfully provide leadership in various settings in the health and human services field as well as in more intentionally spiritual contexts.
As a contributing author to the book The Happy Law Practice, Ketema wrote a chapter on “Cultivating Inner Peace.” He strongly believes that everyone has a unique expression to share with humanity and that inner peace is attainable by confidently affirming one’s own truth. He hopes through his ministry he will be able to lead the charge for everyone to sense their individual greatness and endeavor to live a life worthy of that appearance.
